Islands Of Adventure

As part of a major expansion to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure opened in 1999, providing fertile ground for massive themed lands and ambitious new rides that one theme park simply could not hold. Today, guests can “Live the Adventure” among the resurrected dinosaurs of Jurassic Park, the pop-culture icons of Marvel Super Hero Island, and the heroic magicians of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter contains Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, an incredibly popular ride housed in a real-life replica of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Jurassic Park River Adventure and Jurassic Park Pteranodon Flyers rides offer prehistoric creature thrills through water and air, respectively. The Incredible Hulk high-speed roller coaster reaches 65 miles an hour, mixing the Hulk's signature roars with the excited screams of riders. Designed for younger children and based on the popular works of Dr. Seuss, Seuss Landing features The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride, a pair of rides based on The Cat in the Hat and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, and a stage show entitled Oh, The Stories You'll Hear.
