Six Flags Magic Mountain

Overview

Valencia is home to Six Flags Magic Mountain, a California legend nearly half a century old. Stocked with more roller coasters than any other park on earth, Magic Mountain is home to the legendary Colossus, an old-school wooden coaster that still packs a punch; Apocalypse, which doles out a punishing 95-foot drop; and Full Throttle, with its hair-raising 160-foot loop and three separate launch-points. For family-friendly thrills, Roaring Rapids is still the go-to for white-water rafting fun, and Jet Stream always impresses with its water flume drops.

Information

Goliath is an awe-inspiring "hypercoaster" that boasts high-speed twists and turns, and includes a 255-foot, 85 mph drop. Viper boots riders through serpentine curves and loops at 70 mph. Old-school bumper cars make an all-ages appearance on the Sandblasters ride.
