Six Flags Great Adventure

Overview

In the heart of Ocean County, New Jersey, lies Six Flags Great Adventure, a theme park that is currently the largest on earth since the Six Flags corporation merged its Great Adventure Park with its Wild Safari animal park.  Thrills and spills are in abundance, as evidenced by wild rides like the Slingshot, which fire human beings 220 feet into the air via a giant rubber band; Bizarro, an endless series of corkscrews, loops, rolls and drops; and Blackbeard's Lost Treasure Train, an all-ages trip through the world of buccaneers and buried treasure.
