Nestled in Vallejo, California, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is a 135-acre animal-themed park, with crowd-pleasing rides like the endlessly-looping Medusa roller coaster, the bungee-jump-assisted Sky Coaster, the high-altitude Superman Ultimate Flight coaster, and the classic, pendulum-swinging Ark boats. The park is open from March until December annually, mostly on weekends, but during the summer it's open all week.
